How you save $1,000 a year?
That’s how much a digital marketing guru says you can spend on your digital marketing in just six weeks.
In a virtual marketing summit, digital marketers are presented with a budget to work with, a set of digital marketing strategies to implement, and a set plan for growth.
In order to achieve the goal, the experts say, you need to invest the money in a well-designed strategy.
“You need to be thinking strategically and not just doing a quick buck or a quick click, but you need a plan to grow your business, and it’s very hard to do that without a plan,” said Jason Zengerle, CEO of Zengerles.
“We’re talking about money you’ve invested and a plan you’ve put together.”
Digital marketing strategy is the most critical part of any digital marketing plan, said Zengeres marketing partner, Chris Hutton.
You need to have a plan for each stage of the marketing cycle.
“The most critical step in the process is the plan,” he said.
“That’s the one you put together, it’s the plan you put in place and that’s where the magic happens.”
Hutton said a good strategy can save you hundreds of dollars a year.
“What I’m talking about is putting together a plan and a schedule for the marketing cycles,” he explained.
“You can’t just go out and spend your money and do whatever the hell you want, you have to set the stage, put the budget in place, get the marketing people on board, and then do it.”
Digital marketers need to focus on a budget, he said, because the plan will be the foundation of success in any marketing campaign.
“That’s what a good marketing strategy needs to be,” he added.
Digital marketing summit organizer, Dan Foskett, said the goal of the summit is to get everyone talking about digital marketing, as well as sharing strategies and strategies that can be used in the future.
“I think that the digital marketing movement is about reaching people in a way that is relevant to their everyday lives, whether it’s social media or whatever, whether that’s an online platform or whether that is a mobile platform,” Fosksett said.
“So we’re talking to marketers, we’re getting them involved, we are bringing them together, we have people from all walks of life.”
The digital marketing Summit, which takes place this weekend in San Francisco, is being hosted by digital marketing startup Hubspot, which recently acquired the digital advertising agency, CAA.
Hubspot will also host the conference’s keynote speakers, including David Zipperer, VP of Product Management at Google, and Mike Smith, CEO and Co-Founder of Zendesk.
“In the coming months, Hubspot will launch a number of new digital marketing platforms, including Hubspot Hub, the first and only fully open source digital marketing platform, which aims to provide an open platform for any business owner to build a scalable digital marketing organization,” the company said in a press release.
The event will take place from April 14-16, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco.
